“There’s still a way you can see the world’s greatest landmarks”
That’s how Duncan Barkes, from BBC Sounds described our new initiative #StayCurious when interviewing one of our amazing tour guides this week.
Why Stay Curious?
With the travel industry abruptly shut, our tour guides find themselves without income overnight. We launched the #StayCurious campaign to support our guides during this challenging time. We sponsor them to bring to the public during lockdown weekly interactive and highly engaging tours, to the comfort of your home, free of charge.
You can watch previous tours of NYC, Berlin, London, Dublin and more on our StayCurious site.
Want to get involved?
All our tours are completely free of charge and tipping the guide is entirely at your own discretion after the tour. All you have to do is follow us on Instagram at @travelcurioustours where each tour is broadcast live and you can interact with the guide.
Be quick, our next tour launches on Friday 17 April 2020 @ 15:00 BST with local Venetian guide, Luca for a talk about the history of Venice, while enjoying breathtaking views of the Grand Canal. Learn about the crafts and way of life of a multi-generational Venetian family. Hear how the tidal phenomenon of the canals and how it affects Venetian daily life.
Please help us help our guides – join the tours, interact with the guides and spread the word to friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who comes to mind.
We thank you in advance for your support.
Stay safe and always Stay Curious,
The Travel Curious Team
